Objective
To encourage participants to design tourism initiatives that contribute positively to ecosystems and communities.
Instructions
Participants work individually or in groups.
- Select a destination or tourism area.
- Identify:
- Environmental challenges
- Social or cultural challenges
- Brainstorm at least three regenerative tourism initiatives.
- For each initiative explain:
- Positive environmental impact
- Community benefits
- Stakeholders involved
- Long-term regeneration potential
- Present the strongest idea to the group.
