About Course
Value Chain in Tourism helps learners understand how tourism experiences are created through the cooperation of many different actors, including accommodation providers, restaurants, transport services, local producers, cultural organisations, attractions, communities and destination managers.
The course explores how value is generated, shared and strengthened across the tourism value chain, with a focus on sustainability, local sourcing, cooperation and visitor experience. Through practical exercises, learners will map tourism value chains, identify opportunities for improvement and design simple cooperation-based tourism offers that create benefits for visitors, businesses and local communities.
